After deciding NOT to build a new cabin, we decided to put in a fabulous new heated swimming pool!

As we learn about how to grow food in a more regenerative way, we learned about hugelkultur gardening. It's a fantastic way to get rid of yard waste, animal manure, grass clippings and other natural debris while sequestering carbon!

We noticed we had drainage issues on the path from Oakenshield's parking lot to the cabin. Ergo, we put in a French drain and lighting.

We started building legit Adirondack chairs to replace the plastic ones we had. They look much nicer, and don't blow into Canada during a wind storm!

Huntress was our first cabin we renovated. See where she started!

Our newest cabin is the Oakenshield cabin, named after the warrior dwarf, Thorin Oakenshield of The Hobbit fame. See where he started and where he is now.
